Xiamen two-day itinerary

Xiamen's two-day route thoroughly explores the theme of overseas Chinese: on the first day, the modern history of Gulangyu Island's opening as a port, and on the second day, Jimei Mei Village Jiageng Building plus eight city morning markets and the botanical garden slow route.

The second day of walking was about 12,000 steps, arranged between Jiageng buildings and the market, and the intensity was lower than that of the first day.

Reminder before departure

• Jimei Mei Village is across the river from the island. You need to charter a car or take the subway and connect it the next day.
• The morning market in eight cities is most popular before 8:30, and stalls will be closed after that.
• If you want to see the sunset on both days, you can change the direction to Huli Mountain Fort on the second day.

Is the two-day line suitable for taking care of the elderly?

The intensity on the second day is low. If you limit the walking on the first day to less than 12,000 steps, you can walk at an old man's pace on both days.
